Attorney I. David Marder received his Bachelor’s Degree from Springfield College in 1967 and his Law Degree from the University of Connecticut in 1971. David was admitted to the bar in 1971, and the Federal District Court for the 2nd District of Connecticut in 1973.
David was the recipient of the Jacob L. Fox Foundation Scholarship and is the author of “The Need for an Expanded Role for the Attorney in Divorce Counseling” in the Family Quarterly in 1970. He was Chairman of the Tolland Economic Development Commission from 1975 – 1980 and a member of the Board of Directors for the YMCA in 1980.
David is a member of the Tolland County Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. He served as President of the Tolland County Bar Association in 1981 – 1982 and a member of the Examining Committee for the Connecticut Bar Association in 1984 – 1985. David has served as a Special Master in Tolland County Superior Court on Family Matters and for the Regional Family Custody Trial Docket in Middletown, and has been a Fact Finder in Tolland County.
